Hello,
I recently purchased a Sony Bravia 40" HDTV (KDL-40S4100) and I have it hooked up to my PS3 via HDMI cable. I know for a fact the TV resolution for Blu-rays is 1080p/24 (this is displayed on the screen display when the movie starts) however some of the scenes in every movie i have watched so far show up grainy or with static. I notice it most in low lighting scenes and since most other scenes show up superbly I was willing to let it slide until I watched cloverfield today. On of the early scenes was terribly grainy and staticy. Is this a TV problem or maybe a player problem? I know the player has been updated with all available firmware updates, what else can I do to fix this issue? thanks for your help |
