Dirty player menu problem

Don't know if anybody else has had the same issue, but at the end of the movie, after the credits everything seems fine. It goes back to the main menu no problem. I try to go over to the special features and it stopped at scene selection and ss menu popped up. I closed it and it popped up again and again. I couldn't even select a scene. I finally got it to go back to languages and it happened again. I finally turned the disk off and turned it back on and it's was fine. Maybe its not the disc. Maybe my player is dirty. I really haven't cleaned it lately. Its a PS3 by the way.
