Default help with sound on phillips on bdp9000

ok im new to blue ray ok here is my setup.i have a mitsubishi dlp 57 inch 1080p and a phillips bdp9000 blue ray,i do not have a sound setup yet im kinda piecing together that in the next month so i have it direct connected hdmi to my tv,now this is the problem it seems that with some movies the sound breaks up in parts of action, now the video is perfect no effects and looks awsome, i did the samsung upgraded firmware to the latest and nothing is helping,is it to much going to the tv? if i hook it up with optical to a reciever and run no sound on tv will that fix it?

you may just be overloading the tv speakers. There are few to none tv's with decent speakers. Go for the last option you mentioned with the optical cable. You won't get any HD audio, but you'll still be able to do Dolby Digital and DTS lossy.
