Default help buying a hdtv

hi the television i have now is only 1080i. i am going to buy a new television in the next week but wanted to know whats the difference between a full hd tv and a 1080p hd ready tv is there any difference the the picture quality

i believe full hd tv is 1080p hd... some companies market as 1080p while others say full hd

correcto,

if ur getting a plasma go with a panasonic or a pioneer (if u got the cash)
if ur going for an LCD go with a samsung or a sony
if ur going for an DLP go with Mistibishi or Samsung
