Question about Movie "REC" DVD - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all,
I'm thinking about ordering a DVD from Amazon/UK. The movie is "REC" on regular DVD. It says Region 2. Would I be able to play this on my PS3? I appreciate any info.

Only if your PS3 plays Region 2 DVDs or if you have a region free DVD player. Otherwise, since the disc is R2, no.

Even if the disc is region free but your PS3 can only play NTSC discs, you won't get to watch it.

Thanks a bunch. I was ready to order it and then I had a feeling I better do some more research. Guess I'll have to wait for it.

Just wait for the R1 DVD or buy a "grey market" disc. That's what I did and yes, the movie rocks.
