Default Problems with HDMI?

Hey there, new to the forum anyway......I just got a 37" LCD Panasonic Viera 1080p HDTV, PS3, and HDMI cord. I might just be over critical but watching blu ray movies I see some slight fuzziness it seems like on movies. I was wondering what the problem maybe? Could it be my HDMI cord ( I bought it off eBay trying to save $)? Or is it me just being over critical? I have watched Jumper and Untraceable both of which I noticed it on and both are Blu-ray movies.

Make sure you turn off the noise reduction on the television and you may want to switch between 120hz settings, if available, to see which you prefer.

If problem still persists buy an hdmi cable from monoprice.com and test to see if it was the cables fault.

I would buy and extra cable anyway so you could have one just in case. Monoprice has great prices.

Maybe what you see is just normal and a result of video de-compression. Do you notice it on all movies? Is your blu-ray output 1080p? It's not being upscaled?
There's nothing wrong with your hdmi cable... otherwise you'd probably really see tons of junk on the screen. Heck... blu-ray is better... it's not best tho ;-) Best has yet to come.

The cable uses digital signals so it would not add fuzziness. It could be a setting on the TV or the player. Often TVs have a zoom turned on that will crop off the outside edge to hide errors that show up on certain broadcast channels. Or you have it set to the wrong resolution.
