Regarding Left 4 Dead

Does anyone have official word or a recent article discussing the game for PS3 with a release date? Big zombie genre fan and I really want to play this one.

I dont think there is any info. Valve hates the PS3, but EA might do the work, assuming theres no Exclusivity deal.

Kicking Zombie Ass In 360 Left 4 Dead, Why No PS3 Version
EA "Interested" In PS3 Left 4 Dead
Valve Warming To The Wii, PS3 (And PS3 Left 4 Dead)

Seeing the price is dropping for this on the other box and PC I would say the PS3 will not see this title unfortunately.

If you don't want to get this for the 360 then get it for the PC. It's worth playing.

Yeah, the price never went down on BioShock and other games on other platforms before coming to PS3.

Game hasn't even been out for a month yet however. Next Thursday will be one month. I would certainly buy it if it came out for the PS3.

It doesn't make sense for it not to come to the PS3. I mean it's running off the source engine which was ported to the PS3 when The Orange Box came out.

Can someone post the gist of the later 2 articles about PS3 left 4 dead? Is it possible/probable?

And how fast is the price dropping for L4D? I dont follow 360 game prices, but it is odd for a game thats seemingly very popular to go down in price this quickly.

Strikes me as the sort of game that would be sold for $20-30 on the PlayStation Store.

Does PS3 owners want another valve port similar to The Orange Box? The PS3 version of that game is subpar to the 360 version.

Anyways, I own all 3 current gen systems and i was able to buy L4D for 39.99 at amazon this week.... cant wait to start playing this game!

I think it's greatly exaggerated and extra time - improved engine. Source can run well on PS3 if Valve or EA put the effort in.

Yes it could.

It's a fun game and a real shame it's not out on the PS3. As for the download part, that's a possibility but they would have to do some legwork first. I see this game having multiple maps being developed and sold online. I've also heard there is a Dawn of the Dead mall map coming.

I almost did the same. Also for Dead rising but that is coming to the Wii next year.

The fact they are actually making it for the wii, which can only handle like 25 zombies on screen at once compared to like 300+ is just sad. That system needs to die and stop getting companies like capcom to make games for their POS system. I'd much rather play it on a system where I dont have to look like an idiot playing a real good game which wont be on the brutal port coming soom to wii.
