i hope its true but valve seemed pretty adiment about it not coming to the ps3. i would really enjoy playing it though since i dont have a 360. also i thought bfbc2 wasnt supposed to be out until Q1 2010.

Valve Games developer ahve said they never see themselves developing or outsourcing games for the ps3 so if this is true that would be awesome but Ill have a hard time believing it

I hope so, it was fun when I played it at my brother's, but I refuse to buy a system that I have to send back to the manufacturer for a month at a time after a couple weeks of using it.

Man, I hope Gabe Newell and the others at Valve finally get their balls together on finally making L4D2 on the PS3. Now all we need is that GOTY edition for the first one too via PlayStation Network.

I would love to know what people do with their 360's that they have to keep sending them back for repair... Been playing Xbox 360 since 2005 and have never sent one back...

Anyway I think this is an error... Probably whoever designed the webpage received info this is on the PS3 but I doubt it... Sony would have mentioned something about it at E3...

Maybe it was meant to keep on the downlow and use it as a big announcement later and it accidently got leaked.

Though if anyone would be distributing it, it'd be EA as they ported the Orange Box to the PS3 already for Valve.

Most likely its not what the people do with it, but its the system itself.

Look up its failure rate and you'll know.

Yup mine hit the three year mark the other day. No problems at all.

OT, wasn't there a thread the other day about how Valve aren't supporting the PS3? Kind of makes this seem doubtful.

Well it does, considering Gabe Newell: The fat dude and head honcho being mentioned at the last post, absolutely despises our console. I'm pretty sure that EA will port the PS3 version, if it's ever possible, since they screwed with the last port.

In my opinion, The Orange Box on the PS3 doesn't really look bad; the frame-rate issue has a bit lag to it, but it doesn't really distract. The graphics and environment look impressive, but the Source engine really needs work on both consoles; perhaps make a Source engine Mk.II?

I'm really looking forward on Left 4 Dead 2 on the PS3, and if it's ever possible, port the first Left 4 Dead via PlayStation Network or Blu-ray Disc. Just fix all the issues and learn from the mistakes from the last port, make it as good as the other versions, and we're cool.
