The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Third Season Blu-ray

In August, Warner Home Entertainment will bring The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Third Season to Blu-ray. The season collection features all twenty-two episodes of the supernatural soap opera.

The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev (Chloe), Steven R. McQueen (Piranha), and Ian Somerhalder ("Lost").

Warner's four-disc Blu-ray/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack presents the Season Three episodes in their original aspect ratio of 1.78:1 with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. The set's supplementary specifications are still unknown.

The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Third Season streets on September 11th.

Same here on both. I'd prefer they never started these combo packs for TV shows, but I'll get over it once I start watching the season.

Same here. Not a surprise that it's actually coming out later given that The CW is starting their shows later than usual this coming season.

Their official reason is basically to get out of the crowded premiere month of September. In other words, pretty much what you and Michael Bay Fan said.

Once again though, I watch this and Nikita on Blu-ray, so it doesn't matter to me.

I remember one year a season of Supernatural didn't premiere until a week into October.

It's possible, and highly likely. I just don't see any point in them releasing Nikita nearly two months before it premieres. It's coming at some point either way, so we'll see.

I didn't watch these season when it was one. So I'll pick it up eventually then. Might wait for a Black Friday sale for it. Got the first 2 seasons that way. On dvd, but still good none the less.

It kinda makes sense because my October people might already be tired of new series and jump the boat if the CW has something they might be interested in.
