Default 360s New Experience - Whoops

Well, a Forbes issue has confirmed that while Xbox's new experience is rolling out on Nov 19, it's going to be missing the much-touted Xbox Live Primetime feature (trivia, etc).

I've also heard that Netflix streaming won't be on Nov 19th either.

Funny, those were the only 2 interesting things about the new experience to me (was looking forward to trying them out).

While the graphics and Miis (or whatever) will be added on Nov 19, the new timetable for XBL Primetime is Spring 2009.

So the Home killer forget to tie his shoelaces and tripped.

Now is the perfect time for Sony to open up Home.

I'm looking forward to trying it out but I think it looks to much like its aimed at kids. To cute for my liking.

1. It's not promoting the 360, but showing a failure. Much like how people post sales numbers.

2. Just about everyone has been comparing the new XBE to Home.

Obviously Home (whenever it decides to come out) is much more than the new XBE will ever be.

I think its been true to its name the "360 experience..."

I always wondered why ms chose 360, if you turn a 360 you
end up exactly where you started from.

I really don't think home has much to worry about, XBE has few thinks going for it but pales in comparison to home!

Yeah. It's mainly just an interface upgrade. It's nothing special.

The Netflix was interesting (however, you can do this on the PS3 I guess with software now) and the trivia channel (now delayed until who knows when).

I'd rather wait to see what Home is or isn't and just play my games. Ever since the PS3 added in-game XMB, my main gripe with the PS3 went away.

I don't think Home is going to move even a single PS3 honestly. Now good games for the PS3 will move PS3s off the shelf. So Home is yawnalicious to me, I'd rather get a single good RPG for the PS3 then Home.
