As I watched a SONY Pictures film last night, the opener shows clips from a number of their Blu titles, most of which are now available.

Brad Pitt tipping his hat when meeting Susannah, in 'Legends of the Fall," leaves me wondering - when, oh when, will this haunting epic, with incredibly gorgeous country, powerful family story and compelling music finally be available on Blu-Ray?

Amazon doesn't even have it available in its "Give us your email address, and we'll let you know when it becomes available" category. Seems strange that SONY's hawking it, but it's completely invisible in the markeplace.

Do any fellow "Legends" fans have any clues or insight into this?

I love this movie - i know some dvd covers surfaced over a year ago of this film but i don't know anyone who has heard anything since. I've seen that happen a lot - other movies shown on previews i.e. Bad Boys etc. have never seen the blu-ray light of day.

Legends of the Fall is one of my top five favorite movies. I have brothers and if you look at the movie from that perspective, the "chick flick" factor goes away. I pray for a high quality blu transfer next year!

but I love this movie. As long as it is, it holds my attention for the entire time. I would buy this on blu in a minute.

Legends of the Fall is the one film I can watch over and over again and feels brand new everytime I see it. I never tire of it and can always glean something new each presentation.

The day this becomes available on BD will be an instant buy!
