Default BIG problem with the headset! Please help.

I have the new socom headset and it was working well until last night. Last night I couldn't hear anyone. I went to my device/audio settings, put it at 5, but it didnt show the volume rising/lowering when i spoke. Also, the wireless input and output had nothing next to it (isnt the dot next to it blue if it works. I also dont get indictaors when I unplg it/ plug it back in like I always used to on the XMB.

This morning I checked further and the volume on the headset still works (I can hear when the beeps when I turn the volume up and down). So the headset still works right. but when I plug it in to be charged i get a solid red circle for a few seconds and then nothing. and when i unplug it a push for the three seconds to turn the power on i get a "dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun" tone. But the green power light still flashes. And like I said, the volume tone still works.

So do I need to "Par" it up to my system again? How do I do that? Please help me as it is expensive and new and I don't want to think that its dead. What does the solid red circle that appears for a few seconds mean? Thanks for your help.

How did you pair it with your PS3 the first time? Most likely you will need to do that again.

I just put the cable into my second controller slot and put the end of that connector into the top slot of the headset. Which is the same thing im doing now. Though, admittly, after so many times ive switched it up alot (inst of the controller 2 port the charger is in controller 1's) but nothing seems to work.

yeh they sed u shouldnt connect it to the USB to find it, the best way to use the headset fully is to turn it on to pairing mode and let the ps3 do all the work.
