Big problem

Well i have a big problem my sub plays when movies play but i just got on Guitar hero 3 for my ps3 and it dont play the music with a sub. it does the same thing on my 360 im using monster sub cable and monster THX optical cable for the sound input could some one help. Just restate this it only does it with music, I can play a game on either system and it has bass. Help i love my bass

might want 2 double check the game book, and also check audio settings via the game hope that helps a little lol

Well one thing that i forgot to add was that my old sub and receiver would pick it up

Is this a crossover S/W?

If so, then the bass crossover is set too low most likely -- it would still pick up bass from music where it goes that low, but perhaps the game bass doesn't get low enough to crossover.

Okay, so what do you have the sub set as, high or low? Try switching it to see if can produce any bass. Always double check the connections on the back of the reciever also. Try going into the menu on the PS3 and see what you have your audio set to, and switch it to automatic. Once you go through these steps, see if you get any bass. Hope this helps.
