Was it a hack or a trick. Please any feedback would help thank you.
I believe it was something to do with the game in particular ive heard this happens on COD4, some glitch in the game, you will need to seek veterans of COD4, and so now begin your quest armed with the ring of knowledge seeking mount COD4.. you now leave I fear I cannot join you in your quest but only point you in the right direction.

Its a Hack, not COD4 related. You could do hacks for clan tags and such for your psn name in COD4 but if u were recieving a message via ur ps3 XMB then its a ps3 hack/trick

Funny thread. I'd love to be able to play downloaded PS2 games on my PS3. I wonder if that's possible..

You'd need a small circle (probably 4 people), and there legs are going to have to be very strong. PS3's are heavy. I'm thinking that if you do hack with a PS3. It probably won't work anymore when your done. I could be wrong.

let me answer your question with another question:

does a tiger lick it's paws after a kill?

check the exact name of the message. if you have and capital I or lowercase l in your name, these keys look identical in a PSN ID. it is possible that this person mimicked your ID name by replacing a alpha-numeric symbol with one that looks the same (also 0 vs O, or S vs 5, U vs V etc)

Wow someone with an actual answer... not too sure why people are giving this guy stupid answers to a valid question which I had no problem understanding in the first place....
