PS3 Hack

Tried to watch Curse of the Golden Flower last night but its region coded. Is there a hack for the PS3 to make it region free player?

0-0-7-3-7-3-5-9-6-3 on the PS3 DVD remote to unlock a really cool BD Java game!

Sorry, there will never be a region unlock code for PS3. Only el-cheapo no name brand DVD players have a region unlock code. Why? they were made in China or Taiwan the mecha for bootlegs, they need to play any movie encoded in any region. It least that's what i would like to believe. I am nost sure about standalones if all have the ability to change regions. However Ps3 is a diffrent beast even if you were able to hack the firm ware to play Blu-ray imports, Sony would only need to do another update to eliminate it, ala PSP.


though i really don't need to import anything, I support licenced anime. i know that most anime watchers swear by the subtitles, and look down at dubs, however I like dubs if they are good dubs.

You can't be more wrong. 95% of all DVD players ioncluding Denon and other high end players have easily removable region locks.

for me as a us-BR importeur it is trully sad because titles won´t play on my ps3-region b. i personally think there´s gonna be a hack, at least i hope.
blu-ray here in germany are prette rare that´s why i support us-BR. fast release + large variety! as matter of fact i don´t see the point in this region locking. whether i buy a br or a game from the us or from germany (where i live)shouldn´t matter. i would buy it anyway.....

go under parental control...at the part for setting up password..dont put anything in.,,,uhave to haev the remote for this part......hold down the select and enter button for two seconds,,,,a box will pop up,,,enter 4578,,press enter........restart the system...insert the disc soons as you inssert it...take the controller and press...L1, L1..L.R,,SELECT..<< B and then scarpion gonna say...........come here...and upper cut u.lmao...ohh shit that mortal was a classic.......
