Default Replacement for Denon AVR-4306

I would like to upgrade to a receiver that can bitstream the new lossless codecs.

I'd also like something comparable to DenonLink III which basically keeps the signal for DVD-A and SACD in the digital domain between the 4306 and a Denon 3910 player. The two are connected with a Cat 6 shielded cable.

I'm currently using 2 slightly modified Carver ZR1600 professional amps in a monoblock configuration to power a pair of Paradigm Signature S8's. A Carver TFM-45 amp is powering a pair of Paradigm Studio 40's in the rear. The Denon 4306 is powering a Carver Tru Subwoofer EQ and a Paradigm Signature C3 center speaker.

I almost upgraded to a Denon 4308CI last year, but decided against it for the time being since I wasn't sure if it was worth the upgrade. Also, considered the Denon 3808CI.

I've been reading a lot of good things about the Onkyo receivers and they are generally cheaper in price too. Maybe the Onkyo 805 or 875? I'm thinking I'd like to stay under $1,500, but around or under $1K would be better.

Any suggestions?

If you want to save money, the 805 is a great choice for the price. There is better if you're willing to spend more though...

Does the 805 have something similar to the DenonLink III (passes multichannel DVD-A and SACD digital audio signals in the digital domain)?

Which receiver would you recommend for more?
