Default Avr Question

I am upgrading my plasma and with that i am also updating my AVR. Right now i have the Yamaha Rx-v463 and have the Klipsch Refrence RF-82, Rc-62, Rs-52 and Rw-12d Sub. I was thinking the logical upgrade you be go to the Rx-v663 with all the hd audio, but i read about Dennon and Onkyo on here and not much about the Rx-v663. My budget is about 550 what do yall recomend honestly. I will be running a bd-35 blu-ray strait to the avr via hdmi.

You will get a lot of different answers to your question but I have the RX-V663 and is very happy with it.No complains so far..a lot of features some you might used and some you might not...

Denon AVR2309 (coupon code: AFLAUD25 for 25% off!)

Yamaha RX-V1800 (coupon code: couponcabin for 6% off)

at the price for the Denon (its in your price range), its a clear winner. But overall quality, the Yamaha 1800 hands down...but its a bit more $$.

Since your player decodes all the formats you can save money buying a receiver that doesn't have the codecs..

Denon 2308 would be cheaper and just about the same as the 2309..

Sony 3300ES all in that price range and I own that one. At the time the Denon was a bit out of my price range.. This is a nice unit with the screen setup similar to the PS3 XMB.

Yammy v861.. would also work and has come down in price as well..

Crackin, what about that Pioneer you PM'd me about the 91txh or something, it was $550 or thereabouts. I really liked the Pio that I had listened to, although I bought a sony.

shouldn't.

No receiver should unless they have on board video settings?
