Default Speaker upgrade help.

So I accidentally bought an Onkyo TX-SR606 and convinced the gf to give it to me as a xmas gift but my old receiver uses spring clip speakers and sub (ya its an old onkyo htib but it gets the job done) so cant use em on new receiver.

Will the following set work decent enough with the 606?

http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-SKS-HT54...pr_product_top

$240 doesnt seem too bad, I can always sell off the Onkyo HTIB to a friend for a hundred spot.

Check out amazon, I was just looking and you can get polk speaker which include a sub, fronts and center for cheap, monitor 70's, cs2 and psw 110 for $432. then add surrounds, like monitor 30's for another $100, or wait until the next pay check or taxes to add the surrounds and just cut the ends off the old HTiB speakers to expose the wire and plug them into the receiver for now.

Or Sony F6000's fronts, CN5000 center, and B3000 rears $379 total. then save for a sub, something decent, my sony W3000 is good got it for $99. or a good one like eD A2-300 for $350.

IMO.

I was going to do that but the problem is I would be without a sub, but i got the HT-S7100 now so I got it covered. Ill still probably upgrade speakers later though but for now this set will do
