Default Possible speaker upgrade

Hi

Looking to upgrade my Sony speakers to something a little more "modern" looking, but also want to see if i can get a better quality sound out of them. The brand I'm looking at is a local Australian brand called, STEINMAN AUDIO LABS. I can get a good deal on some of there speakers from ebay, just after some opinions weather or not it's worth upgrading.

Possible surrounds upgrade to the SMS 6 - Surrounds

Possible center upgrade to the PWR2 Centre Speaker
http://www.steinmanaudiolabs.com.au/PWR2.htm

Possible surrounds again PWR2 Surround Speaker

My current speakers are the ones i have pictured in my gallery. Look forward to your thoughts

Default Recommended.

Not sure what the PWR2's are like. I got some Steinman THR2's (front, center and surrounds) back in 2007 and couldn't be happier. You need to up the volume on the center and rear surrounds as they're a little quiet, once done to be perfectly host they sound better than other speakers 3x the price.

A mate of mine got the Steinman SMS2 package last year in the cherry colour. Verry attractive speakers and if anything they sound that little bit clearer than my THR2's, though this may be down to his Yamaha amp.

I've nothing but good stuff to say about the Steinman products I've come into contact with, great items, especially at the price they're asking.

I asked the Aussie HiFi guys about the PWR2's when my mate was looking at getting speakers. Apparently they're more targetting those users who want plenty of volume but are not necessarily as clear as the SMS range. I'd recommend calling the guys at Aussie HIFI, they seem to know their stuff. You can usually get their items more cheaply off eBay though than by buying direct from the store. You end up picking them up from the same place anyways.
