Default HTPC with bluray help
I have a pc that I've been watching blu-ray films on for some time now, and wanted to switch from using my computer monitor to a 1080p projector.

Is it as simple as running a DVI-HDMI cable out of my video card?

Also, my Soundblaster X-Fi sound card is connected to my logitech Z5500s by those minijack connectors, am I actually getting DTS-MA or TrueHD sound? Or do I need some other connection? How do receivers fit into the equation? I'm really new to all this.
