Default I hear VINYL is all the rage!

LOL! I knew I'd get the vinyl lovers' attention with that one!

"Smile Away" (Paul McCartney - RAM) is currently playing and I am indeed smiling.

I'm absolutely loving the fact that vinyl is becoming less difficult to search out. I'm loving the fact many old classics are being reissued on 180-gram. I'm loving the fact that newer artists are insisting they want their releases to appear in the vinyl format as well. I'm loving the fact that the industry is realizing there is a significant demand for this format.

I have been buying vinyl since the mid-sixties (yes, I'm old) and I was lucky to grow up in a time when vinyl was all there was. I remember going to a place in Montreal called "Phantasmagoria" every Saturday morning. I'd spend hours there and usually walked away with a few releases under my arm.

I can't do that now to the same extent, but I can again find places that have introduced vinyl. And I'm loving it!

My apologies for the "nostalgic" diatribe, but it's a good time again for us vinyl lovers and I wanted to express that.
