So here is my idea.
Right now I have 2x ATI 4850's using a DVI to HDMI connection to a 24" LG monitor. I want a blu ray player and it hit me,why not just get a blu ray drive? So I was wondering if I could set up another DVI to HDMI connetion to my 61" JVC HDTV as a second monitor to watch movies on. Since I normally use headphones to play games I could then use my computer sound system for the TV. Since DVI supports greater resolution than HDMI it shouldnt negativly affect it? Do you think it would work? Will this affect the blu ray picture quality or sound? What do you guys think? Or should I just get a standalone system?
