Default American Sony KDL-52XBR5 in Japan!!

Simple question... i have searched & haven't been able to get a conclusive answer. i have the 52'' XBR5 & was wondering if i ship it to Japan, if it will work or if i will encounter any problems, broadcast wide, voltage, etc.!!

... appreciate any assistance, thanks!!

Japan does use NTSC like us until June 12 when it will be ATSC. But the TV recieves both, unfortunatly the voltage on the TV is 120-240v accepted. Japan uses 100v. Im not an engineer so i believe giving less voltage prob wont let the TV turn on. Best bet is to call Sony for more answers.
