I have tried 2 different 50 gb bd-re's to no avail. a TDK and a Panasonic 50 gb. I am really pissed cause I can't burn any discs that are recognizable by my ps3. I think these disc's are 2.1 bul rayformat is that the problem? I am burning UDF 2.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'm using a TDK 50GB BD-RW, it works fine. What are you burning; files, BD content? What do you mean 2.1 Blu-ray format? |

I have a 50 gb panasonic 50 bd-re and it is not being read in my PS3. It does however play in Cyberlink Power Dvd. Anyone know what can be wrong?

Try this, erase the disc, grab a .mpeg2 or .avi file that you know will play on the PS3 and just burn it to the disc. The PS3 should list out the contents of the disc. If not, then make sure your using UDF 2.5 (I thought Nero 8 would correctly set it in Auto mode, it doesn't! I have to manually set it).
