Default Media Go on PS3

I hope someday Sony releases a version of Media Go for the PS3. I'd like to completely take my PC out of the equation for organizing/synchronizing media. Has anyone heard anything about this happening someday?

You PS3 already does everything that Media Go does except for backing up your PSP saved games.

Though I haven't tried backing up my PSP Saved Games, so it may work.

What functionality does Media Go have that the PS3 doesn't have?

If Media Go would stream media to a networked PS3 (like iTunes does to other iTunes enabled PCs), I would be running it right now.

Yes, I know there some third-party apps out there, but I haven't found them all-too reliable, and the PS3's native media browsing capabilities are...well...quaint. I am surprised Sony hasn't cooked up a dedicated software solution for this yet.

PS3/CELL's well-suited to transcoding videos to PSP res AVC so they should add that capability. It's already done for the XMB preview/video thumbnails (without audio) but not exportable so I don't know what extra legal hurdles they face.

I agree and they need a mac version of the media go software too.

I may get a PSP Go today but I don't use Windows Operating Systems.

I figure the PSP and the PS3 will get along well together.

Media Go is like iTunes for the PSP. It syncs up the music between the PC and PSP. I keep all my music on my PS3 so I'd like that functionality on there. Just plug in the PSP and syncing will begin!
