Default Samsung LN55A950

well after having my Samsung 58" pn58a650 for about 2 weeks i had to send it back it was a great hdtv but it was not meeting my expectations. so now i picked up the Samsung 55" ln55a950 and it blows (imho) ALL other tvs out of the water. i just saw Ironman and i felt like i was looking at all the action through a window. what i want to know is, "is there anything i should look out for?". i bought the 4 year protection plan for it but still i would like to hear from other owners of the same model; be it raving about it or b!&@#ing about it. thanks, Spyder-Dan

It isn't 120Hz that does that, it is motion interpolation....

I heard this TV had lots of problems with the Halo effect around the edges just like the 81 did last year. How much did this set you back and do you like the thickness of the TV?

I believe you can turn Interpolation on/off. The 120hz would allow two ways to playback 24p content, by creating(interpolating) four frames or by copying one frame five times.

A,A1,A2,A3,A4

or

I had the brand new 8 Series...it had a blueish tint on the Side's of the screen..and i would also check and see if there are scratch's on the side's where the screws go...and the bezel... I had tons of marks over mine. I love the direct 24p mode! There is no "Flicker" or judder....I now have the Panasonic 800U

5 G's for a TV? It's going to be obsolete by next spring. OLED, NEO and more advanced HDTV's will be hitting shelves soon. Better have a built in subservient Asian girl for that much scrilla.
