Default Star Trek on BD... who will be buying

With all the interest shown in Star Wars, I thought it about time to post a poll about Mr Roddenberry's creation. So, now that the Ferengi... sorry Paramount are back in the Blu Federation, who is interested the in the ST titles. Hopefully news of this wee poll will make it's way via a subspace portal to Paramount and prompt them to get cracking.

I have not included the series shot or edited on SD equipment.

What, no Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, or Voyager?

Yeah, I know you left them off for a reason. But those would be great on Blu also.

Just the films for me. I've never really rewatched any of the series that often.

I think he is not a fan of TOS-R. lol. If he'll buy Enterprise on HD-DVD, TOS-R must not have held much for him.

Funny how I just started going through my StarTrek films on standard DVD to see how they look and if it was worth the upgrade. Well, I'm done "The Motion Picture : Dir.Cut" and I'm definitly upgrading. Although it was fine for the first half, the image quality just went down on the standard DVD on the second half.

Gonna check out Wrath of Khan soon

All are definite purchases for me.

I just hope they spend some time with the transfers.

I would buy all of the star trek films and shows on blu, if I had the money. But that is a huge chunk of change, I think I would have to settle for the movies alone at first.

I would buy all of them, I especially like the first few movies with the original cast. But I would buy the next generation ones with Picard as well.

Do I detect a Purist ??? ... and / or
Not a fan of Enterprise.

I have to admit that I'm quite intrigued by the remastered series (we have not had it in the UK). I do however think it would have been best to include both versions using seamless branching.

I'd buy Star Trek 6 and First Contact without a doubt.

What I'd love to see is the series finale of The Next Generation in HD. The 2-hour episode entitled "All Good Things....", which with the possible exception of First Contact was better than any of the motion pictures.
