No, actually I'm not. When you start making threads bashing all these directors, it gets to be a little ridiculous. I expected to try to understand what started this in the first place hence my question of why are these here.

No. People just can't except that nothing will ever top the original in a series. Aliens by some is consider better then Alien. To me I like the first one a hair better because of the mystery. Also some people take movies way too SERIOUSLY. Some just want to hate an overhyped film. If a film is easy to hate when it is over-hyped, hence Titanic.

These threads are making fun of award winning directors, so actually I guess why someone would bash an award winning director does need to be explained to me.
