Friday the 13th.

Started off with an awesome concept, and really shouldn't have gone any further than 2 movies {Jason's mom, and then Jason himself} after that it just got silly.

After the 3rd movie Nightmare got a little stupid as well, but at least Freddy was a supernatural creature from the start, but the supernatural ways of defeating Freddy really should have worked 1st time around.

I'd go with Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I wasn't a huge fan from the start, but the Return of the Texas Chainsaw Masscre with Matthew McConaughey and Renee Zellweger before they were famous was quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.

Friday the 13th (1980). Killed Horror as it was.

Have to credit Halloween (1978), as well. But that was more.

You should've included the Puppet Master franchise as one of the worst.

I have to go with Blair Witch. The first sucked royally while the second was slightly better but still not very good. I can atleast stand the rest of them.

Oh, and I liked the first Leprechaun movies but they went too far with "N tha hood" and the outerspace one.

I like being positive rather than negative...

I'd say Friday the 13th is the most overrated but it is what it's meant to be and great at that. I just hate people saying it beats Nightmare on Elm Street.

I agree. Leprechaun. Dumb right from the start and the movies only got worse.

Wrong Sleepaway Camp or the "wonderful" :eprechaun series make the Friday the 13th series look like Cassablanca, Lawerence of Arabia, The Dark Knight, Titanic, Braveheart, etc.

Hannibal Lecter figuring twice? Someone must reallty hate Silence of The Lambs, Red Dragon and Hannibal eh ? (6th Sense by M. M counts in that series I guess)

I put down Jeepers Creepers. Downright awful from the get go.

I never knew until today that there was more than one Silent Night, Deadly Night. I only saw the first when I was a teenager because the movie was supposed to be controversial and my parents forbid me to
