Default Can I get some opinions on these Blu-Rays?

I've found all of these for under $25 at most online stores, been trying to build up my collection, was wondering if you guys think they're worthy:

The Proposition (have not seen all of it)
Crank
The Fifth Element
Black Hawk Down
U-571
Dawn of the Dead (2004) (have a burned DVD)
Hellboy
Underworld
Bad Santa
Gattaca
Unforgiven
Run Lola Run
The Rock (have the DVD)
Unbreakable
Dog Day Afternoon
Con Air
Training Day (have a burned DVD)
Batman Begins (have the single-disc DVD)
The Warriors
Big Fish
The Departed (have the single-disc DVD)

Own all three of these on Blu, and I also own Training Day and Batman Begins on DVD. I'd say that Batman Begins is the must have out of your entire list, especially if you're a long time fan of Batman like myself. The PQ is great. A bit grainy in the darker scenes, but overall, it's a nice step up from the DVD. I'd say the same about Training Day to a lesser extent, but that movie is full of close up scenes and they really shine on Blu. The Departed is simply amazing, IMO. One of the best movies out there, and what better than to own it at its highest quality? Great PQ. Audio is superb. Brilliant films. All three of them.

I'd definitely recommend the three of these movies. All possess great replay value.

How do I tell if it's remastered? Will it say on the back technical specs?

bad santa was a good flick and the transfer was pretty good altho there are 2 different versions, one with a bad transfer and one with a good one as the didnt you use seamless branching for the 2 different cuts

The fact that you don't have The Warriors as highly recommended makes you taste in movies highly suspect

I'll just comment on the ones I have in my collection:

- Hellboy: Definitely worth it. The PQ and AQ is a clear upgrade over the DVD and I personally loved the movie.

- Underworld: PQ is very good in my opinion. I see a lot more details in shadows, dark scenes and dark clothes I never saw before on TV or DVD. This is a pretty dark movie but every little detail is visible. I personally loved the movie and I think so will you if you like horro/action movies. Also, it's worth to get Underworld: Evolution as well.

- Batman Begins: a must buy! It's a great reboot for the Batman movie franchise and the PQ and AQ on this blu is top-notch.

I have only seen three of these movies on BD, but I would recommend all three. Crank's PQ is awesome, Underworld has great AQ and pretty good PQ, and the remaster for The Fifth Element was very well done in my opinion.

I have just ordered Ultimate Avengers Collection for $6.99 and Transsiberian for $9.99 (didn't want to start a new thread about this) Are they worth it at this price? I know nothing about Ultimate Avenger but its supposed to look/sound good, and I love Iron Man and so on...

Any Warner upgrade is a great idea. Their dvd transfers are horrible. Superman Returns is one of the worst dvd transfers I've ever seen for a major hollywood movie.
