Default Router for PS3 : N+ vs. N

Getting comcast high speed installed this weekend and need a new wireless router.

My PS3 will be hard wired to the router. Is there reason to spend the extra $$$ for N+ gigabit if the PS3 is wired in? Is the advantage only in the wireless aspect or will it be noticeable on wired ports too?

Thanks!

And sorry if my wording is wrong. I appreciate the help!

Don't spend the extra money if your connecting via ethernet. N is only for wireless.
On the other hand, G is on the way out, so if you plan on getting any other wireless devices you might just want to get the N.

If you are worried about the security of the PS3 do one of 2 things. Dont use the N+ router... and or disable the wireless ability when you are not actively using the connection.

Also, if you are wired to the router and not wireless, the only benefit you'll see from the Gigabit connection is if your media server is also on a Gigabit connection.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a recommendation for a Gigabit DLNA or uPnP NAS?

I use an N router with 3 PS3's(G) 1 MacBook (N) 1 MacBook Pro (N) & 2 iPhones. So there is a TONS of stuff eating up that good O'l WiFi! It all works like a charm though!

I bought that same router for my in-laws since they had just bought a new notebook with N wireless. They are very happy with it.
