Default Need help with sruge protection for wall mounted tv

Ok first I live in an apartment. I am going to be wall mounting a tv in the bedroom (ok'd by complex), but they can't put an outlet behind where the tv will be. So I will have to run a surge protector wire down to the outlet directly underneath the tv.

So my question is: Does anyone know of a surge protector with at least 3 outlets that hooks to a wall mount? (I have the monoprice premuim mount.) Or is there a simple way to attach a surge protector to a wall mount? I am looking at this surge protector. http://6ave.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=MONMPAV600

Any help would be appreciated as my tv is arriving tomorrow and Will be wall mounting it hopefully next week.

If the TV power cord is not long enough and removable, you could get a longer cord and plug it into the surge protector that is sitting on the floor. If it is long enough just run the power cord down the wall to the floor and plug it into the surge protector that is sitting on the floor.

I never would have thought of that! It's a perfect solution!

any ideas as to attaching a surge protector to the stand. The tv cord is long enough but I have also purchased a sanus wall mount component stand and will have a ps3 for the bd player/media hub. I will also have all the cords for a wii so I can just move it into the bedroom. (playing mario kart online with friends is great) So I was hoping to only have 1 cord running down the wall instead of say 3 or 4. I know they have that white stuff that sticks to the wall over a cord so it does not look as obviouse and am not sure if it will cover multiple cords.
