Default dvd upscaling question on PS3..

Which setting should I use? Normal or Full? I've switched back and forth and can't really tell a difference between them. Double line setting frames my picture. So which is supposed to be better? Normal or Full?

Go full, should make a difference. I'm going to try mine out tonight.

On their webpage it says that 'normal' upscales it with OAR and 'full' fills the screen (meaning it will stretch the image). Haven't had time to test it myself yet, will do so tonight also

What is "OAR?" BTW, I didnt' notice any stretching in the image when I switched back and forth.

Edit: I assume you mean "Original Aspect Ratio" when you say OAR?

^^ It means that the Original Aspect Ratio is retained. As I said, that comes from their webpage, I couldn't test it yet.

edit: your edit beat me to it :-)

Might be best to stick to 'Normal' then, unless the black bars annoy you.
