Upscaling DVD player question - Blu-ray Forum

Are there any DVD/VHS combo players that output video through HDMI. Most only push the DVD signal through. This might be the wrong forum but not sure where else to ask. thanks for your help.

I believe Panasonic makes one but it costs like $500. Not sure why it's not listed on Amazon.Com.

i dont know if this is correct or helps but I think that one of the new panny players is a blu-ray/vhs combo and it does offer HDMI. i don't know if the vhs is upscalled or not; but maybe!?!

Actually it does upscale VHS, that seems to be one of the pushing points Panasonic is making.

Thanks, that combo blu-ray/vhs came to mind. i will have to wait till its released. I know alot of the players will output the dvd through HDMI and the VHS signal through component or composite. just hoping someone has run into this.
