PS3 Audio help to A/v - Blu-ray Forum

Ok here is the deal-e-o. The issue i am trying to work out is, what is the BEST setup for sound with the ps3 and his A/V.. He just bought a 1080p plasma.. But his A/V is a bit older and doesn't have hdmi hookups ( rather it has coaxil and RCA and optical ). So i was thinking.. Connect the PS3 to his TV via HDMI for the best picture.. I realize there is no coaxil i believe on the ps3, but it seems like his only option would be to use the optical into his A/v.. Am i correct on this assumption or any other ideas?

yes, optical from PS3 to the receiver. Set the PS3 to bitstream.
