Default Sony vs. Sony Opinions?

Ok, so I am looking into getting a new TV, not a huge fan of Sammys....sorry. I have been looking at these 3 sony models, and can't really tell much of a difference. I was wondering if anyone owns these models ( KDL-52XBR6,KDL-52V5100,KDL-52W4100) and what your take is on one versus the other. I went to the Sony Style store, played around with them, took them off their vibrant settings, and just cant tell which one I like more. Thanks for the help!!

Well the XBR's are the top of the line. If you have the dough just go for that. There is probably a way to compare all 3 on sonystyle.

I do know that when I was ready to buy the 52xbr4 the salesman was totally trying every trick in the book for me to buy the 4100. It just made me suspicious...Like he would win a trip or something if he sold a certain number of 4100's.

I can say that I love my xbr4. I've always had sony xbr's and the 52xbr4 is the best one yet!

The XBR6 is easily the best of the bunch. Its full featured including 120hz and the floating glass design. The W series has 120hz, but lacks a lot of the other features that the XBR has, and the V series does not feature 120hz. Most other features are absent also. It also has a lower contrast ration so the blacks aren't as good. Look at THIS page for a comparison chart for Sony Bravia TV's.

Being an XBR4 owner, I guess I am a bit biased. That being said, my current 52XBR4 is the best TV I've ever owned. I say get the XBR6 if you have the $. Awesome TV

Default Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I am going to go with the XBR6. Sony Style is going to match the lowest price on the market which is 2499, so I can't lose!! Thanks again guys...I will post pics later.

If you can get the XBR6 for $2,499, that's a great deal. I paid $2,999 for my XBR4 last June. I'm very happy with it. You won't regret getting the XBR6.
