Default Blu-ray flickering!!!!Help

Hi I purchased the Sony KDS-50A2000 last August and it has
worked out great until I got my Panasonic blu-ray player the DMP-BD10.
Basically occasioonally when watching dvds or blu-rays I lose picture for a
second. It flickers and I have gone thru the sony technical service and the
panasonic tech support also. I sent the blu-ray player back to panasonic and
they said they played it 20 hours straight with no problem. Also that it was an issue with the tv maybe the 1080p hdmi. I have dealt with it for awhile but it is really annoying. Anyone else having this problem? Is it because it is a first gen player, or an tv issue?

You have done ALL the update? You may have a loss HMDI cable (duct tape works for that) or it could be bad.

What happens when it flickers? Audio yes/no? screen goes Black? How long does it last.
You running the HDMI throw a reciver 1st then to the tv? If so run the HDMI stright to the tv.

Yeah I have done all the updates even the 2.1 released yesterday. I use monster hdmi and I have even swithced to a different cable and a different hdmi port, same results. There is audio when it flickers and if you back up on the disc it won't do it in the same spot, very random.

You have another tv w/ HDMI to see what happens. Is it happend on diffrent BD or just one disc?
I have a Monster cable too. The bad thing about them is there hefty, so I use duct tape to take some of the weight off the port & keep it in 100%. Before I would get cut outs every now & then, but I would also loss sound with it.

Yeah I don't have another tv with hdmi. It does it with all bd's and dvd's I will try to relieve the pressure with duct tape. It does it just enough to bug me like 5 to 17 times with a 2 hour movie.

When it has happend to me, it would be maybe 1-2 times a week at the most. If it happend more & more frequently I would put up some fresh duct & fixed.

I am thinking of getting the DMP-BD10a next month. Other then this issues how does the PQ look on the A2000? Any freze-ups with the DMP-BD10?
