Hi,
I have a Shaw 3416PVR and have noticed the following. I have used 2 diff types of HDMI switches, one was a generic 4 port hub, and my latest is thru my new receiver. The problem I have is that with the PVR you can set the resolution to be either 1080i/720p and 480i/480p respectively. I set both to P. I found that when using the HDMI generic switch, the PVR would go back to the default resolution of 480i/1080i about 50% of the time. With my new receiver, it doesnt keep the setting at all and I have to change it every time. Hopefully this makes sense Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks |
