Default Question about Southern Californian Disneyland Tickets

My friend ordered me the Southern California 2fer tickets for Disneyland this Spring break. He lives down in LA but I live up in Cupertino (SF Bay Area). He chose the mail option that way I won't have to present my ID to claim the tickets, but I'm still unsure whether these tickets will work for me. For those who had experience with these or have any knowledge about it... will they ask for my ID when I just present my ticket at the turnstile? He chose the delivery method that way Disney will send the actual tickets to me. Thanks!

If you have the ticket on you, you won't have to show ID at the turnstile. Once it gets to that point, they don't care who you are.

The only place they would ask for ID (to prove you were a So-Cal resident) would be if you bought the tickets there. Seems to have been taken care of.

Did you have previous experience?

I've been to the SoCal Disneyland numerous times and they never check your I.D. and I've used numerous forms of tickets. I'm sure you'll be OK. Have fun.

I work at Disney. You only need the ID to get the ticket. Once you have the ticket you are golden! Have fun!

I concur.
I'm a proud former Disneyland castmember as well.

I have annual passes, live in Southern California, and go about 8 times year at minimum with my wife and 3 sons in tow.

Yeah, I do. I wouldn't have responded to you if I had no clue what I was talking about.

I also have an annual pass.

I love that place. Never get tired of it, unless there's a lot of people

How much do annual passes cost? Does anyone know the price difference for them between Disneyland and -world?

I've heard rumors that a long time ago Dinsey sold Lifetime passes. Anyone know if this is true?

Well that depends on how often you want to go. They have different levels.

ALso, an annual pass for disneyland does not really compare to disneyworld IMO.

Thanks. Is there a site that has a chart that lays it all out?

And are you saying Disneyworld is better? (I've never been to Disneyland, so I don't know how it compares).

And why would you have a problem showing your ID??? How are you going to drive or fly to LA without an ID? Seems odd to me someone would want to enter Disneyland anonymously......

Either because he's a terrorist, or because you missed the part where he mentioned they are So-Cal resident tickets, and he lives outside San Francisco.

This guide will give you information on the Disneyland Annual passes.

I've been to both disneyland and disneyworld, and I'm not saying one is better than the other. They are different experiences altogether.

I grew up with disneyland, and I remember when I went to disneyworld my impression was that it was very expansive. You basicially have to take a week or so to see everything, and I wasn't used to it. That's why many people make disneyworld a destination in itself for vacation.

Disneyland is different. Rather than catering to people who travel far and wide, they tend to focus more on the locals. So you will get a feeling that everything is tighter and smaller compared to disneyworld, and you can do it all in 1 or 2 days.

So if you were to ask me, each are cool in their own way. I do recommend if all you've gone to is disneyworld you should try disneyland as well.
