My IE & FireFox Keeps Stopping. - Blu-ray Forum

Like every damn 10 minutes it cannot display pages. Anyone know what is wrong?

Interesting...I've been having that problem with IE for about 3 days. Task manager looks normal, and CPU isn't working like a mad man.

Probably just a coincidence...but...maybe it's some sort of blu-ray.com virus!

It's working fine now, but there's a new problem. I went in and changed a bunch of the settings and did a virus scan and it came back fine. But somehow I have no sound. I can hear the noise it makes when I put in my USB stick and my external hard drive but it doesn't recognize the audio. I right click on the icon on the bottom right hand of my screen and it says;

"There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.

This program will now close."

So I fixed it but screwed up my sound.

The sound thing happened to me once. Turned out that whn I was cleaning out programs from my computer I somehow deleted the Sound Driver. If thats the case you'll have to go to your computer maker's site and download the audio driver. And my Firefox also used to do that. It eventually just went away. But in any case, I recommend a quick sys restore.

I did a system restore but its not working. I fixed the sound but the IE and Firefox is doing it again. Anyone know what the hell the problem is? It's frustrating as hell to deal with this.
