quick opinions pls - Blu-ray Forum

i was just up at best buy and they have an open item plus 10% off of a yamaha htr 6130 receiver with the 5.1 yamaha speakers set up. the open item price is at 250 plus 10% off would be 225$. anyone know if this would be worth it to hook up with a ps3? or is this a cheap pos system?

Looks to be a "passthrough" system.

I would pass on it.

crackinhedz is right, pass on the deal, you can do better. Open item deals through Best Buy evolve all the time. Keep your eyes open, because sometimes they don't know what the heck they are doing, and they mark down an item way below what it should be marked at, and they lose. I check Best Buy weekly for stuff they f'd up on marking!

Yamaha lists the RETAIL price of this at $229. So Best Buy is charging over retail and giving you 10% off to get it just below retail. I <3 worst buy.
