Router trouble. (i only play cod4 BTW) - Blu-ray Forum

hey people! theres an annoyance i have to deal with. i love playing cod4, though my router screws up all of my fun.

its a "d-link dir-655"
and i think its pretty bad. i can play for maybe an hour and then my character just goes crazy and some days i cant play at all. (BTW my signal strength is always 90-100 in connection tests so im

) is there something i can install/do to help, or should i just buy a new router (good preferably low priced reccomendations?)? im not exactly tech savvy but im sure i can follow whatever instructions u guys have to give. thanks.

Are you using the wireless? If so, you might want to try using an ethernet cable instead. Wired always beats wireless.

i usually do wireless but recently i switched to wired and honestly, its exactly the same problem, no difference in connection troubles.
