Default LCD Lights behide Plasma

A month before Christmas i found this lcd tubeing (you know the type that bends).I bought Blue and wraped it around the back of my Plasma and taped it .I did it well. It's hidden nicely behide.

I bought this light bar (Blue) that goes on the back of my Ps3.I have that in the corner of my room.I noticed right away how blue it was and that the tubeing around my plasma was more green then blue.

Now, i don't even know how to punch this up on the net to find what i want. LCD lights for the back of my TV.
Does anyone here have any knowlegde of were i can purchase this or any suggestions.
Remember i live in Canada

These Cyron LED lights are the ones you'll see in my HT photos. I've since stopped using them because they started to bug me (I didn't like the look) and because my plasma really didn't need black enhancement. Since I bought them at Costco, I simply returned them (they were only $50). Cyron is a popular brand for this type of application. They have the right temperature lights (6500k) and you can choose which color you want. If I were going to use backlighting, these would be the ones.

Should work fine. Each length comes with mounting brackets that attach with either double sided tabe or screws, and the connecting wires are quite long.

Thank you for stepping up.

The light i have isn't that bad but i want to see all my options. . It would be nice if you could control the light to dim it to the place you want it.Or can it
i also see that they order to Canada.I just might pick a package up,We'll see

Thanks my friend. You don't know how hard it was for me to find a link for what i wanted.

Few questions regarding the Cyron:

1. How did u get power to the lights? Install a 15amp outlet behind the TV?
2. If I want more than the 6 bars it comes with, do I need another outlet for power, or do they just keep connecting like X-mas lights?
3. I see they are controlled by a 3-button controller. Does this just hang behind the TV and you have to reach behind there to turn them on and off?
4. Is it possible to wire the outlet they are plugged into so they can be turned on and off via a wall switch?
5. Is it possible to control these remotely?

2. If I want more than the 6 bars it comes with, do I need another outlet for power, or do they just keep connecting like X-mas lights? Yes, there are only 6 plugs/sockets in the controller.
3. I see they are controlled by 3-button controller. Does this just hang behind the TV and you have to reach behind there to turn them on and off? I just set it behind my TV. Once you set the color/etc, you don't need to mess with it.
4. Is it possible to wire the outlet they are plugged into so they can be turned on and off via a wall switch? I had mine plugged into my AVR switched outlet so they turned-on when my AVR turned-on.
5. Is it possible to control these remotely? Doubt it. Once they are on and set, why would you need to control them?

What's the purpose of these? To enhance the perceived black level of the TV? Would it help enhance the black level of an LCD TV?

you can actually make a DIY light for about $20. Just go to lowes or home depot and get a fluorescent light fixture that's about 18" to 24" long and then get a 6500k bulb, it is the same thing that you would normally buy for $50 or $60! Only thing is you can only get a white light if you do it this way, which is actually better for reducing eye strain and depth of black perception.

yep just swap out the bulbs! Toss the one that comes with the fixture and replace it with a pure white 6500k bulb, nothing else to worry about! You will be good to go!
