LCD vs. Plasma - Blu-ray Forum

I apologize in advance if this is a redundant thread.

I have a Panasonic 32" LCD (720 p). How much inferior are LCD's compared to Plasma's? And how much am I losing out on the HD experience only 720 p instead of 1080?

I'm thanking in advance for the advice and answers.
