Well, soap and water will take care of it.

I always used windex on regular DVDs, followed by a rinse in water, then gently pat dry.

You being sarcastic or does that actually work, i would've thought exposing a blu-ray or DVD to soap an water would destroy the disk.

I've read in a Disney publication that the disc should be able to withstand steel wool scratches and permanent marker. Didn't say anything about fingerprints.

I think it was an ad in the Disney Adventures magazine a few months ago.

I've been cleaning CD, DVDs with soap and water for years and now BDs, and HD DVDs . It works very well. That was always the recommended cleaning method for problem CD data discs in the 90's. It always worked for me and it won't damage anything. just make sure the disc is completely dry before putting it in the player.

Windex and a paper towel always worked for DVD's. If that does not work, try boiling it.
