Default my daughter got finger prints all over my TV :(

What should i use to clean it off? I was thinking of going to CC just to get the cleaner they have. That should be ok right?

I just about had a heart attack when i came into the door and saw 3 hand prints on my tv, i wanted to cry .

Also, i shouldn't press very hard on the TV when cleaning it right? I just don't want to mess up the tv at all....

I have some big screen cleaner but I don't know what the liquid is. For all I know it might just be distilled water.

Ah, I went through the exact same thing recently. My Pio Elite is within hand reach of my 2yr old and she has already wrecked shop on it. Everyday I would come home to clean finger prints off. Sometimes just prints, but sometimes it would be some type of residue from whatever she happened to be eating. Also, she has somehow scratched the bottom of the screen! Luckily, it is not noticable unless you are very close to the TV. Thankfully, she pretty much leaves it alone now.

I usually just blow a hot breath on the print and wipe it with the cloth that cam with the TV. If it is more serious, I either use a little spit or distilled water.

ive had the same thing happen to me man use lens cleaner. glasses, contacts, whichever. lens cleaner is a safe way to clean your tv. dab a little on a micro fiber cloth and softly wipe off the fingerprints.

never ever use windex or any of those advertised lcd cleaners. they can damage your tv's screen and generally streak.

yeah, i came into the house during a party we were having to my niece SLAMMING HER HANDS on my LCD. oh my god i freaked.

took the cloth the tv came with, got it damp and gently rubbed the prints/streaks off. do it w/the tv off so u don't miss any.

i then proceeded to calm the tv down and assure it that it wouldn't happen again.

Ha! I may or may not have told my TV..."it's ok baby." My wife says my TV is my second child.

My fincee may think i've completely lost it if she comes home to seeing me with the tv in my lap while weeping like a little girl lol.

I think i'm going to pick up some distilled water on my way home tonight and i'm hoping that does the trick. I'm hoping that there is a cloth in the box that the tv came in.

My son did that to me a couple days ago, I saw a couple of hand streaks on my TV, looked at him, looked at the TV, and he ran off. I used just standard computer monitor cleaning wipes that I've had for like 5 years. Took everything off, and then I started dusting it, and made a huge mess with dust everywhere, so ended up getting canned air and detailing the entire front of my TV.

I have this screen cleaner by Monster which does a great job of removing finger prints, dust, and any other kind of mark from your big screen tv, or laptop screen.

I snagged a couple at the motorcycle show. They work well but I haven't decided if they work any better than the ones I got in the auto section at Target.
