lol - sorry to disappoint.

I've had time to cool off. Regardless of my purchasing or not purchasing, I was just acting nuts for a while there.

Would be easy enough for them to CGI Lop-off "Fake Windu's" head and replace it with SLJ's.

This post reminds me that Episode I is like a treasure trove of cameos, and Easter Eggs. The people involved were SO excited to be making a new Star Wars film that they went a bit nuts with those things. It will be very interesting to see if these things are more readily visible on the Blu!

Cool!

Star Wars is what I have been waiting for since I first got my Blu-ray player back in the spring of 2008, it's been my most wanted, anticipated release and I cannot wait to enjoy every second of it on the 16th.
Agree 100% I even took the 16th off work so I could begin my "Saga Weekend" early!

The only thing I would have changed about the Jedi scene is when the reactor blast comes up it would have partially burnt the paint off Vader's suit revealing the white underneath (I hoped the Jedi's would have worn similar white armour in the prequels). It may be a bit on the nose but it would have been great.

Although it might have provoked some serious rage from Chasing Amy's Hooper!

I too am looking forward to the sonic and visual extravaganza on Blu, and perhaps "feeling" a bit like I did when I saw the original films in 77', 80', and 83'!

Can't wait! AND I get to share this all with my 6 year old What fun!

I normally work weekends, but I requested the 16th, 17th, & 18th off, so I can get Star Wars silly. I'm probably not going to watch anything but Star Wars stuff all weekend. I'm going to watch every single thing on all nine discs.

I really wish it included a cleaned up version of the originals, and I feel for you guys that are upset over it not having them included, but I'm still pretty stoked for the A/V upgrade, and the never before seen extras, especially the old footage!

Obi Wan killed Owen and Breu Lars so Luke would go on the heroic journey with him and the droids.
Nobody seems to pick up on this, but it's obvious that Ben blew their house up while he was distracting Luke.
Ever played KOTOR- morally questionable acts for the greater good are what being a Jedi is all about.

This is #3. The first one is by far the best, they should've just gone back to that one, or at least tweak/build off of it.

Has there been any word on the quality of the audio, specifically 3-6? Have the mixes been tweaked or sweetened at all, so that the surrounds are more engaged, like with Menace and Clones?

And yet Star Wars has fallen behind X-Men: First Class in sales. X-Men was great but I don't think anyone would've expected it to outsell Star Wars even a couple weeks before SW's release.

From the sounds of it, though, if this is a reference-quality set, then some may change their minds. We'll have to wait for the final verdicts.

As much as i hate 98% of the changes GL made to some of the most beloved movies of all time i relize we will never bet the unaltered OT back. I understand his stance of him makeing the movies how he truly. Invisioned them, but at some point the movies become the fans not his, with that being said im still buying the complete saga.

I just saw that on the home page!

Does that listing include all sales, or just blu-ray?

A lot of people don't pre-order, and tend to order at the last moment. So that doesn't mean much.

What does it matter that it has fallen behind First Class? It's still going to sell very, very well for a niche format.
