I'm going to buy the Saga set, but that's it for me. I won't buy any future re-releases on Blu-ray or whatever format comes out next.

Can't wait. I never took much notice of the lightsaber fiasco, so they never really bothered me, so with that in mind, I'm sure the release will at least meet, if not exceed my expectations.

Actually, the skin tones in all the clips i've seen so far look far more natural.

Well, it IS about 20 years later. Hell, I have had old TV's where the color looked that far out of whack after far less than 20 years! Why not a lightsaber? (note corrected spelling - I'm in the USA )

That scene in a new hope never had any problems with the lightsabers being crossed.

It's this scene that was messed up on the 2004 dvds and needs serious fixing...

At least Eco friendly plastic would ensure there was zero contact between the disc playing surface and the case.

Tight cardboard sleeves? Zero scuff marks? Are you kidding me?

Check your Alien discs guys...

Look at those scuff marks...

How do these images prove nothing is fixed?

My question, also. Heck, even dvd and blu-ray have clips running in the main menu background that do not represent the PQ of the film. I don't see how this is any affirmative confirmation nothing has been fixed.

Because someone in a forum said it does! And forum members speak nothing but the truth. End of discussion.

The discs are not even out yet Jacobss do not rush to judgement yet. Wait until the blu-rat box set comes out. This proves nothing. Period end of story.

The only minor blemish is the photo of Jar Jar on TPM back cover, but I could live with that
How can we get it...?
Just do a user search for Nissen and send him a PM.

Apparently, none of you: Boone_Carlyle, Cook, opticzar and Kenkraly can read! I said:

Also, I'm still waiting for this to look exactly this:
I'm not judging anything. I'm still waiting for it to be fixed. Also, I was referring with "nothing is fixed" to people on previous page, who said that this menu is a prove for lightsabres to be fixed. I made the comparision with 2004 version and I have noticed that shots from it are identical to this from the menu. So yes, nothing is fixed. BUT, I've never said that the lightsabres won't be fixed.

Is that clear now?

You make a statement saying nothing is fixed, and then go on to say that it is still the same piece of crap. Based on what? Some random background images. That was what I was making a point about. You post was based on background images. Speculating on that at all is rather pointless. I don't doubt that your waiting to see the final product, but your still making definitive statements based on background images.

Yes that is clear Jacobss. But again wait until the set comes out on September 16th before making judgement's on what is fixed and what is not fixed. Don't base it on background images.

Jacobss there was never an issue with any sabers being crossed in A New Hope. The only issue there was colors.

The original person said the sabers looked fixed in ROTS.

"Hey!

Has anyone seen the iPhone app yet?

A friend told me that there is the shot of the crossed lightsabers of ROTS, and it's fixed!!!! Did anyone see that??

I wonder why nobody has mentioned it.

Probably, because only negative news find a place in here"

But he likely meant ROTJ. In any case who knows what they were talking about because apparently the only shot of sabers crossed in the app are from A New Hope.

I am insanely careful with my stuff.

My Alien discs were scuffed even before I touched them. Rubbish packaging.

You shouldn't have to "make do" with Star wars.
