I think they did filmed a lot, relatively speaking, but was ultimately cut and that's part of what we may see that in the possible Supercut.

But In the other hand I'm fine with what we got. Every time Pennywise is in the movie it feels so damn special and terrifying and part of that is because is a very well "dosed" presence. Very much like Jack Sparrow, a small dose is PERFECT... too much and his impact begins to decline.

If there was as much Pennywise as there was in the first one, then that means the ratio of Pennywise to the length of the film is lower, as Chapter Two is actually 45 minutes longer than the first film. I don't know about you, but to me it feels like there is not enough Pennywise.

I feel like a lot of people forget that IT is not pennywise much in the book. I actually really wished they showed more of ITs other forms and less pennywise.

Despite multiple mixed reviews of this I still want to know if this a worthy buy? I have the first one as well. Since Best Buy now has free shipping and I have a $5 rewards that expires Nov.2 it might be worth it so I can have both. 🤔

Yes. It's still a good movie. Just not on par with Chapter One.

I didn't think chapter 1 was that great. And this is the finale and the conclusion. It should be better by default.

This is now available through Vudu’s Disc + Digital as of this morning. You get access to the 4K version in Vudu and Movies Anywhere immediately and get the disc delivered. (Usually the physical disc comes a couple days early for me too.)

I'd normally be interested in that but I have to wait for the inevitable director's cut of both films.
There was a bunch of stuff in the trailer that wasn't shown in the movie.

Watched the digital copy today. This will be a stunner for those that like their HDR cranked up a bit. It does look nice, but I still prefer the cinematography style of the first film.

Anyway, what a disappointment this turned out to be. The first hour was really promising, but the god awful CGI, the sluggish pace (doing individual character arcs felt too episodic and inconsistent) and a final set piece that was too VFX heavy, emotionally weightless, and just outright predictable, ended up sinking what could have, and probably should've, been a great companion to the solid first film.

I couldn't disagree with you more on that one. The first film is still stronger but then again the adult part was always weaker. I didn't have a problem with the CGI for the most part. The pace could be abit improved but I was engaged with it from start to finish. Not sure what you mean by inconsistent character arcs; do you mean some the arcs aren't as strong as others because I could agree with that statement.
