Why would they bother to encode it twice?

Redbox success on the first try! Guess this is where all of the missing retail copies went.

Can't wait to throw this on the OLED!

Hm. I've never used a Redbox. Not a test site. Hopefully, 4K will work out and then it will go national.

Looks less green than the old Blu-ray in some shots but noticeably more green in others. Exactly what I said about the original prints a while back.

From Amazon UK? Then what have I done to deserve such treatment by Amazon yet again? I only spend like 90% of my spare money there, but apparently that's not good enough for them to bother shipping my pre-ordered movies until several days after release date. Bet they want to force me into becoming a Prime member or something. Next time I'll order from Zavvi. At least they don't usually mess around like that.

EDIT: Just cancelled my Amazon pre-order. Made an order with Zavvi instead. Will be intersting to see how long it takes before they dispatch.

BD-100 discs with the same encode cost less than BD-100 discs with a brand new encode.

Mine arrived in flawless condition without the scratches and wear that slips normally have. No crumpled corners or anything. Suppose it's not much different than any other slipcover lottery.

In-store pickup was finally available at Best Buy a few minutes ago. Fingers crossed they're able to pull it.

Haven’t seen this film in years (don’t actually remember tbh) so it was great and very nostalgic to watch this again. I was like 13 when it came out, now I just feel ancient. Just like saving private Ryan the picture and audio is A**

Just finished watching it. Wonderful.
Been quite a few weeks in catalogue heaven - but this just might be the highlight.

Anybody still on the fence as to whether to shell out on this disc...I cannot recommend it enough. If you love this film you’ll be ecstatic

Bravo Warner Bros!

I almost wish all releases had the slipcovers wrapped so people wouldn't steal them and re-sell them. Sure, sometimes they push the corners in, but I'd say it's worth it to actually get a slip.

Usually Amazon are brilliant. Zavvi usually get to me three or four days after realease day. Zavvi are good if it’s not a pre order. An order usually gets to me within two days.

Just out of a matter of interest what country do you live in? Sometimes when I order from .com I’ve had to wait to the day after release day for them to dispatch it.
